Monarch Butterflies Migrate from all over North America to the Northern Regions of Mexico. However, not all of these beautiful Butterflies make the long trip due to climate change, deforestation and hebicide use. The latter, most important because of the milk weed. the milk weed is the Monarchs main source of food right from larvae. That is where they will have their habitat here in canada from spring untill fall, a large open feild with lots of milkweed. The Monarch Butterfly will lay it's eggs on the leaves on the milk weed where they will hatch after 4 days and start their life.
